Alpha two and ClarionMag's vacation schedule

I had intended to publish a short review of the latest alpha two release, but I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow and I've run out of time. As you may recall from my previous alpha report the dictionary editor was initially released in a read-only mode to focus on UI feedback and dictionary conversion testing. I covered many of those improvements in that report; this release enables more functionality including most field editing and also improves on the datase browser. The browser interface is still pretty much the same as in Bob Foreman's blog entry so I suggest you check that out. Note the new filtering options - they're pretty cool.

I'll be out of the office as of tomorrow (Tuesday) and will return on Sept 4. There have been some rumors of another release and I'll do my best to keep the mag updated with the latest info, although I will not be checking in every day. As usual all credit card purchases are processed automatically; PayPal purchases require one manual step and I'll clear all PayPal orders as quickly as I can.

Have a great rest of the summer and I'll see you in September.
