PostgreSQL 101: Getting Started

Summary: PostgreSQL, a long-time open source rival to the MySQL database, isn't particularly well known among Clarion developers. In part, that's because until recently the only way to run PostgreSQL on a Windows machine was by using the Cygwin Linux emulation. A beta of a native Windows version is now available, and that's prompted David Harms to begin this new series on PostgreSQL.
