AutoComplete In An On-Demand Drop Down Combo

Summary: Why would you want to learn how to code AutoComplete into a Drop Down combo when a Drop Down Combo already does that? The big answer is speed. If you have a number of Drop Down Combos (DDCs) on a page, each referencing a file that has a growing number of records, then even just opening the window will become very slow.
