Summary: Most developers, at one time or another, lose programming changes due to overwritten files, or end up with numerous copies of an application on their machine in an attempt to save a trail of their work. Version control software solves the problem of lost code, and provides a nice tidy trail useful for tracking changes made to an app. In this article Marty Honea shows how to use Microsoft's Visual Source Safe with Clarion.
